SilkPeelTM DermalinfusionTM is an advanced skin-resurfacing treatment that combines exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of condition-specific serums to improve skin health, function and appearance. The treatment is designed to treat aging skin, sun damaged skin, excessive skin pigmentation, and acne.
How does SilkPeelTMDermalinfusionTM work?
At Pure Rejuvenation Cosmetic Center, your SilkPeelTM trained professional begins the treatment with an application of SilkPeelsTM diamond tip hand piece to the skin surface in order to exfoliate damaged skin cells. This removes the outermost layer of the skin. Then, they apply a set of SilkPeelTM Body treatments and solutions that are tailored for you specifically, to treat texture, tone and hyperpigmentation and photo-damage. Often, that will include a set of 4 to six treatments spaced about 7 to 10 days apart. The benefits will come from this patented set of technologies in a way no other procedure can deliver; Diamond-grit exfoliation under pneumatic pressure provide the most even and complete exfoliation of this skin and a controlled and non-invasive manner. That same pneumatic pressure will deliver the ProInfusion serum into the tissue of the skin where in needs to be to rejuvenate the natural processes of the skin, stimulating healthier skin function. Then the DermalinfusionTM process is used to deliver specially formulated serums deep into the skin. The serums that are most commonly used are designed to reverse sun damage, treat aging skin, improve skin pigmentation, improve acne, and deliver anti-oxidants.
SilkPeelTM Body:
SilkPeelTM Body System is an extremely effective procedure for addressing those unsightly stretch marks on the stomach, breasts, thighs and other areas of the body. It also diminishes the appearance of cellulite as it improves the tone and texture of skin, giving it a healthier, more vibrant look. SilkPeelTM Body is also used to as an effective treatment for truncal acne lesions that appear on the back, chest and arms.
Neck and Décolletage:
Years of sun exposure can cause the skin on your neck and cleavage area to look weathered, spotty and rough. For some it starts with a large number of freckles and dark spots, while others notice the skin is just very uneven in its skin tone (not so much spots and large discolored areas). Over time, the structure of the skin starts to break down, showing wrinkles and creasing, particularly in the center of the cleavage. These are very common conditions for women that have not had a good common solution until now. With a set of SilkPeelTM Body treatments, you can improve skin texture, photo-damage, and hyperpigmentation. Reverse damage from years of sun exposure on the skin of the chest/décolletage.
Truncal Acne (AKA Back Acne):
Acne products for the face often have ingredients that can bleach and damage fabrics, making them less ideal for use on the body. The skin on the chest and back is decidedly different from the skin on your face as well – so getting proper penetration of the actives requires a different approach.
SilkPeelTM Body system with featuring Clarifying ProInfusion solution, takes an entirely new approach to treating acne by combining mechanical exfoliation, using pneumatic pressure to clear out the debris that are clogging the pores, while at the same time, delivering antimicrobial actives deep into the skin where they can do their work to clear p. acnes bacteria.
At Pure Rejuvenation Cosmetic Center, your SilkPeelTM trained professional will apply a set of SilkPeelTM Body treatments and solutions that are tailored for you specifically. Often, that will include a set of four to six treatments spaced about 7 to 10 days apart. They will use the Clarifying ProInfusion solution to treat the skin oiliness, excess sebum and to kill the p. acnes. You may experience some redness after the procedure, which will typically fade in less than 30 minutes. The procedure itself is not painful and you can return to your normal scheduled activities right after the procedure.

What is the difference between DermalinfusionTM and Microdermabrasion?
While both DermalinfusionTM and Microdermabrasion remove a portion of the upper layer of the skin, the DermalinfusionTM treatment is much more controlled and consistent in the way it operates. DermalinfusionTM uses the controlled vacuum pressure to pull the skin up into a chamber in the hand piece, where it is evenly abraded just as aggressively or as softly as the vacuum pressure is set by the skincare professional. This is significant, because all other devices rely on the operator to apply the same pressure, at the same speed, consistently over the skin. With a DermalinfusionTM treatment, that same controlled vacuum pressure that is used to pull the skin into the chamber, allowing the diamond abrasive tip to very consistently remove the upper layer of the skin, is also driving a condition-specific topical solution deep into the skin, right down to the dermal junction where the skin cells are regenerating.
